This Gallery is dedicated to my 1985 Caballero- GMC's version of the Chevy El Camino. This is the first "hot rod" I've owned. It has a Premium burning CHEVROLET crate H.O.350/330HP engine, a 350 Auto Transmission with Overdrive coupled to a AURBURN Full Posi 3.93 Rear End. Headers and a custom exhaust make it sound real nice. Cruise, R12 A/C, power windows and door locks provide for a more enjoyable ride. Am afraid what my gas mileage will be...but this is not a daily driver- ultimately it will be a replacement for my F150 which does not drive much each year. While not old enough to be a true classic, it does qualify as an "historic vehicle" and is licensed as such. Am adding images as I can with the Caballero in different settings around Tucson.
