Patricia Simpson
Patricia I. Simpson, age 77, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2004, at Hospice of Ft. Hamilton. Born in Salem, Massachusetts, on November 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Grace Bond. On February 20, 1951, in Enfield, Connecticut, Patricia married Vernon Simpson. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Patricia is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Vernon Simpson of West Chester; five children, Johanna F. Lierer of West Chester, Vernon “Bill” Simpson of Federal Way, Washington, Robert Merle Simpson and wife Dianne of Hamilton, Richard W. Simpson and his wife Sandy of Fairfield, and Susan Weldon and her husband Mike of Landon, Ohio; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, James Bond of Palm Beach, Florida; son-in-law, Stephen Lierer; and many other family members and friends. Patricia was also preceded in death by her brother, William Bond; and two grandchildren, Bobby and Michael Simpson.
Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, on Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Orville Roach officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
