There's this remarkable "clair-obscur effect" between Mons Ampere and Mons Huygens in the Montes Apenninus (the appearance of two "stars" in the valley between the two mountains). I have observed this effect more than once (when the sunrise terminator is at or near Mons Pico).
The two "stars" appear wonderful in your photograph Stefan!
