What is an Artist's Proof?

As I progress through the stages of preparing a final print, I often need to make multiple proof prints to determine what further changes are necessary to creat a print that meets my expectations and ultimate vision for that particular image. Artist Proof's carry no less intrinsic value than a final print, but offer great savings over my standard gallery prints. The proofs are 8"x10" (approx.) and made on the same photo quality paper as my gallery prints but cost only $20(US). Each print will be digitally signed with my signature and bears the initials AP (indicating that it is an Artist Proof).

If you are interested in viewing my photographs at a smaller size (before considering online purchase of a larger print), this is the way to do it. Purchase a proof, and 100% of the cost will be applied toward a full-size exhibition print. Selection varies; I may no longer have proofs available for all my gallery prints, so please email me the name of the print you are interested in and I can verify availability.

Artist Proof's cannot carry the same "No Risk" guarantee as gallery prints due to their limited availability.
