On our way back from Portland, OR, Bill and I took advantage of a weekday vacation day to stop at Mount Rainier National Park to photograph the wildflowers in Paradise alphine meadows. Despite being a Monday, the park was still full, and we ended up parking at a picnic area 1/2 mile from the Visitor Center. For our efforts, we were rewarded with an absolutely stunning lupine & scarlet paintbrush blooms alone the skyline trail.
