To escape the 90 degree heatwave, Bill & I headed to the hills...Mt. Rainier, that is. We, along with hundreds of like-minded tourists braved the ambitious bicyclists, limited Paradise parking, and scorching heat just to experience this natural wonder. It was fun to see the new visitor center under construction, as well as walk around the remodeled Paradise Inn (which, by the way, looks very much like the old inn). The best photo ops, however, were at Reflections lake, where the beginning snowmelt made for interesting images.
