Bill & I took a quickie vacation down to Portland, escaping the dreary Seattle spring to take advantage of the temporary sun to photograph the Silver Falls State Park just south of of Silverton. We packed our tripods & 6-stop filters and hiked to the South and lower South Falls, then the North and Upper North Falls before running out of usable light around 5pm. We treated ourselves to a quick IPA at the Seven Brides Brewing taproom, on the northend of Silverton on the way out...fun place with live jazz on Saturday afternoon.
