I can't think of a better way to spend one of the last weekends of summer than to relax in the Victorian hamlet of Port Townsend on the Kitsap Penninsula. Bill & I wandered the waterfront, window shopping, people watching, eating ice cream (The Elevated Ice Cream shop is the best....), and of course taking pictures. In addition to visiting Fort Worden and the Pt. Wilson lighthouse, we also took a fun excursion to Dungeness Spit and Salt Creek State Park (14 miles west of Port Angeles off of Highway 112).
