While visiting Portland over the last weekend in July, Bill & I escaped the maddening crowds by heading east on I-84 and stopping at a couple of our favorite waterfall stops--Wahclella Falls (exit 40), Latourell Falls (exit 35) and Multnomah Falls (can't remember the exit, but you can't miss it!) As an added bonus, it was Jerry Garcia's birthday, so we stopped at the Edgefield Inn at Troutdale for a couple of beers & to listen to the live outdoor band. Their Jerry statue was beautifully adorned in roses & made for a perfect Lensbaby shot.
