The August 21 2017 Total Solar Eclipse

Taken with an iPhone held up to the eyepiece of a 6" SCT at Cedar Falls Park near Greenville, South Carolina. We chose this place purely at random off of Google maps, and so did about 500 other people, including the owner of the scope, David Smith, who had driven all the way from Ohio the previous day. Clear blue skies the whole afternoon. (Thanks for showing me how to set the exposure on my phone, David!)
