This was such a fun gallery to look at. I'm of Scottish ancestory too and visited Scotland 1 year to the month before your trip there. Oh how I loved it there. For me it was like I'd been there before even though it was my only trip there. I hope to go back soon. I wish I would have had my E-300 when I was there but I still got some decent photos. Please feel free to look at my Scotland photos if you like. (saw your post on dpr concerning the EXIF data, that is how I found this).

hey scott. beautiful piccies in this gallery. i'm thinking of getting the 11-22 and you're piccies really inspired me to save every penny! anyways, i really wanted to write because i'm a medievalist grad student at u of guelph in canada, and the thing that turned me onto medieval stuff the most was my trip to the UK when i was ten, and a certain castle that i remember: caerlavarock! (i hope that's spelled right!). i even have a rock that had fallen from its walls as a souvenir. so thanks for bringing back such beautiful memories with your beautiful piccies!
