The Bald Eagle family continues to do well. By now the chicks
are approximately 9 weeks old. To make the nest safer for them
the parents are adding new branches to keep their fast-growing
young from falling out (much like a playpen!). One of the photos
shows some pin feathers still present. These are immature feathers.
