 I remember this family - they lived in 60 - the nun's name is Elizabeth Lydon - Elizabeth and I attended St. Pauls together, as I recall for all 9 years and graduated in 1963 - Her parents are standing with her - I believe there were quite a few other girl children in the family all with blond, blond hair. (per Pat Miller)

Dear, dear Father LeBlanc,
What a joy seeing your smiling face again after all these years! You will always be "Father" to all of your St. Paul's gang! You have no idea how you touched the hearts and minds of so many young people in the 50's. Thank you for the tremendous love and concern you showed to all of us. Some of the best memories I have of my youth are those trips you organized for the Hecker Club guys and gals. I still remember the thrill of dancing with you on roller skates in the Paramus Roller Skating Rink! Most of the guys were into hockey on skates, not dancing! One of the most important bits of advice you gave me was NOT to marry my boyfriend, Joe O'Donnell. You told me that he did not have a sense of humor and would not make a good priest (he was contemplating the priesthood) or a good husband. We broke up after dating for two and a half years and I met and married my husband of 37 years, Bob Walsh, who has a great sense of humor and is a wonderful husband and fantastic father and grandfather. I can't believe how fortunate I am to have found this website. Fr. Leblanc, if you check these messages I hope you will write back to me. Hopefully you remember me. I am Margaret Borges (Ammons now). Margie Holly, Mickey Romero and I were the three "M"'s. I have many photos of you and our youth group at St. Paul's. I just found this site yesterday, July 28, 2002. Please email me back. I lived at 33 Amsterdam Ave (between 59/60) and went to St.Paul's school from 53-57. All my family lived on Amsterdam (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins). Anyone remember Al & Ben's candy store? Or Rocco's deli? It's nice to see the photos on this site.

Good Heavens, That smile from you all makes my year. Love the picture from Pompeii. Do we have lots of catching up to do. Do you know I still have that prayer book you gave me before I went off to boot camp? It's been to Korea and the Mohave Desert.
