This picture was taken circa June 1964 in front of 80 Amsterdam Avenue. The ocassion was the graduation of my brother Vairon and Stevie Woodcock (standing in the middle) from Junior High School 17.

90 Amsterdam 1A,When I first saw Stevie, I thought he was a movie star (at least a grade B star). Last I heard he had a successful art gallery and picture framing store somewhere in the West 70's.

Mike lived in the last house on 61st Street. I believe that is his child on his shoulder.

Finally the name of the flute player. It is Sherry Winston who wrote Ivan saying " Wow, that’s me!! I can’t believe it!! I have no recollection of playing there. "

During a scrimmage with this Uptown Team (circa 1963), Henry Pedrozo was getting ready to throw one of his Globetrotter passes to me between Boo Davis, Bugsby. From the look on my face, I was trying to figure out how I was going to catch this pass, and then, what to do with it.

Where was this picture taken? Between 64-65th street? Anyone know?
