Dave W wore #31 as a Yankee too. What a great athlete! He could have also played professional football and basketball. He tied with Ron Guidry as my favorite Yankee back then. Dave W was on the "Big Apple Float" in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade about 14 years ago...first time I went back to see the parade since I was a kid.
