I was a CO during the Vietnam War. I almost went to jail I could not run and for me fighting was not an option I continue to struggle today to build a nonviolent world. I was not anti-military and I am not anti flag, We all have to love life enough to continue the struggle for justice. We may not see it the same way, But that is wahat I honor about our nation, we can hold different views as Americans. I don't always love where the political folk take us .........But I love US as a People!

I am a Vietnam Era Vet (USAF), i was anti war but also anti hippy. I was young & dumb (they usually go together). I am PROUD that i served 4 years in the military. Some of the people i grew up with either died in the war or ran. I pray for them all. My daughter is in Military Intelligence stationed in Germany. I worry about her. I pray for her. God Bless all that serve, that served, or wished they had served.

Julio,
Nothing else is necessary. The flag says it all.....with all our historical
imperfections - STILL, WHAT A COUNTRY to live in! Let us never forget that over 80 countries were hurt/killed in the
attack on September 11th. Where else would you find representatives of
80 countries residing, earning a living and sharing in our good and bad?
