Mike, the Ice Cream Man

Probably the best known person of our times. Does anyone know his last name?

Mike the ice cream man told me that he was in the Normandy Landing in World War ll!! He said that he was loaded into one of those guilders and crash landed in a small village in France. He laughed when he told me he didn't see much action because each of his toes in both feet were broken when the guilder landed!! Guess he felt he was real lucky considering all the casulties of that invasion.

Janet, can I use you as a lifeline on "Millionaire"?

And candy man. Remember wax lips, Chiclets, Mary Janes, candy cigarettes, Fleer's double bubble gum, syrupy filled wax mini-bottles, dots on paper, the double ice pops you could split with a friend, Three Musketeers that actually split in three pieces? Small candy vending machines on the poles in the subway? The Beacon Theater with movies for a quarter for kids under 12?
