I've tried to hold out. But just couldn't manage it.
I've tried to find a digital P&S to solve the candid/street problem,
but the market quality just 'aint there yet. So I took the plunge
and ordered a second hand Leica M2 and a 50mm
f2 summicron lens. Just gotta wait for the postman.

These is a misprint in your message. I think you mean a M8 !!! ... Congratulation for this choise. I am waiting to seen what you can get from this old material. A very personal way by the present time.

It would be a v. expensive darkroom! I could get 3 Leica lenses for the price of that sink and tap!

That's a pretty modern kitchen. You need something retro in there! The M2 and the 50mm 'Cron will look great on the counter.

Lol. For some reason the size of this tap and sink made me think of my emptying wallet. If I'd found a drain that looked as good, I'd have shot that instead!
