Year 2 of PAD...and I start off with a photo taken when I was a
teenager... (Best viewed in original size.)

The reason, I've just taken delivery of an Epson V700 scanner,
so I can develop some film. I've spent the day trying to fathom it out, and
this scratchy old negative came in very handy.

It's of one of my closest friends and her French boyfriend in France.

She'd just dropped out of University to go and live with him, and I went to visit.
We were all impoverished 'art' students...they were living on love and thin-air
in a one-room flat, and I had my first SLR and just one lens (50mm). It wasn't wide
enough - my back was up against a wall (literally)...but this shot has something
about it I like.
