The one image quality issue that bugs me about this otherwise excellent camera is the amount of chromatic abberation, which shows up as coloured fringes between areas of high contrast. For example, in this shot, in order to properly expose the subject and the gardens, the camera overexposed the sky, which is completely white. You can see the bluish fringes around the branches of the tall evergreen tree in the upper right hand corner. As well, there is a domed conservatory above the greenery at the top of the picture which you can hardly make out at all. I'm not too sure if it's just this particular camera that has this much difficulty with high contrast situations, or if all digicams have as much trouble.
