Terms of Settlement

After we had our discussion on February 5, 2008, in which we discussed acceptable Terms of Settlement
(to which she agreed), she posted this on her website. Obviously, I did get her to understand that
she needed to reflect on her actions of stealing from another artist.

The Terms of Settlement were:
1. She was to send me the painting as I wanted to donate it to the children's wing of a local hospital
with a plaque outlining the story of Sydney the Cygnet.
2. She was to donate $100.00 to a local charity and forward me the receipt
3. She was to refrain from ever painting any of my images taken to date, or in the future.

She was being let off this theft VERY lightly. Now's she's decided she's not going to honour this,
and has told me to basically take a hike. She states I'm just doing this for personal gain. Where
is my personal gain?

GUEST - Actually, to set the record straight. She wasn't told no, I just asked for a few more details like where would it be sold, for how much, would I be given credit as the source since I'm the photographer of what she is painting. After I sent her that email, I never heard from her again. Instead of answering, she just stole the image, thinking no one would ever find out. Surrrrprise.

Heidi you are a thief! now hold up to your end of the deal. You call yourself a artist? It is clear what you have done here, but who would ever think that you would stick to your word, you asked to use this image and were then told no, so you did anyway. I hope you get what you have comming when its all said and done
