The Winchester and Western Railroad wanted to experiment with six-axle power. In October of 2009, the railroad leased Black River and Western SD9 9581. SD9's are rare in this area, and the next several images documents 9581 on the W&W. The first is crossing Virginia Ave. in Hagerstown.
