hey readers, today has been one of those days were as much as you try you cant quite reach the top shelf of life, everything was a struggle today so my post ride bike ride on the moors was a welcome relief even if i was not "All there" around the moors the signs of the recent weather were clear and not just from the liberal coating of dust on my bike, the local gorse was burned and the earth blackened from fires, even on my drive home i passed a big fire in the gorse near the road... going to be a rough time for our brave fire fighters, hope no one gets hurt.
As much of a problem as the fires are the blackened earth and gorse makes for an awesome backdrop, i popped up onto another part of the moors later with some friends to check out were a larger and more devastating fire had been recently, the area has the mkaing of some awesome bike shots that we wanted to get, sadly arriving with 30 ins of light left and still to walk into the area and set up the photos were not gonna happen, shame really as it looks awesome and trippy and i want to get some stuff done there before the rains come.
