Yep that time of year again, despite the fact i pretty much have my afternoons off from work i still have to keep my lights working, tonight i am load testing my big lamp, a sweet 20w (23w output) mid pattern beam, even with my old Ni hm battery pack i can get 1.5-2 hours run time, hope to upgrade it to a newer Li-ion pack to get an even greater run time for endurance racing next year, really hoping to get a 24hour race in next year.
Currently my little lamp unit is hot enough to burn even without touching, guess the "do not use while stationary" warning was not a joke hehe, got the breeze through my window and the sweet sound of my wind chime to keep it cool for now.
