The rusty-colored structures on the slope at the lower center portion of the image are the hoodoos.

This is one of the toughest images for me to shoot. I had to hike up an icy path with blowing wind strong enough to push me off the path and down the slope. The temperature was -25C/-13F with wind chill factor of -40C/-40F. My un-gloved fingers were only able to last long enough for a few shots at a time.
