Day 3 - Mount Rushmore National Monument

Day 3. We left our hotel in Billings, Montana and drove 641 Km to Mount Rushmore National Monument in South Dakota. The 4 sculptures are the 4 presidents of the United States. George Washington (1st)led the American Revolution War to win the independence, Thomas Jefferson (3rd)was the author of the Declaration of Independence, Theodore Roosevelt (26th)provided leadership in America's economic growth and Abraham Lincoln (16th)abolished slavery.

After visiting Mount Rushmore, we drove another 597 Km to our hotel in Sioux Falss, South Dakota. Total distance driven: 1,238 Km.
