Jacob's Ladder

This is a climb off Fountain Ledge in Cape Town, if you are ever in Cape Town do it, it is awesome. The first pitch is about 16(crux pitch) and pulls through a steepish section and then hits a hanging belay, you can do the first pitch in two parts as there is a good ledge halfway up. The next pitch is the wonderful one, the climbing pic's in this gallery are of this pitch. It traverses out over a massive(>60m) overhang and then climbs up to a belay. Just remember to climb till you find the good belay, I set up a nasty one about two meters too low. Then climb one or two(depending on rope drag) pitch to top out just to the (climbers) right of the cable station. And to those of you who ought to know better, this is definately not a complete route description, get a guide book when you are in C.T.
