The below are images taken in March and April 2007 for www.responsenet.org which organised the photographs to be taken of projects organised by the Great Indian Dream Foundation.

The images on the first pages were taken in South Delhi in Centres which provided education, the ability for parents to work, food, transport to and from the centres (all for just over $2 per month!). The latter images were taken in remote villages about 250 Kilometres equidistant between Gwalior and Bhopal. In the case of microfinancing for instance women saving just 12 cents to 25 cents a month can form co-operatives and are transforming their lives. At the end are a few black & white images I liked.

This was a fascinating trip where I met wonderful people throughout. My thanks to Responsenet and GIDF for making this possible and giving me this opportunity.
