who cares about stones?

Cuesta de Miranda, La Rioja

Leaving Talampaya , at La Rioja province to Calafate, at Salta province,
there is a so amazing road, crossing an incline called Cuesta de Miranda..
What I love, when I travel these routes, is the unexpected,
the feeling of not knowing what is coming, even having a detailed map!
Here, one of the things you may find! ..=)

Olympus E-10
1/320s f/5.6 at 9.0mm iso80 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

hopes it's gone when a vehicle pass by, or that they see it in time...

Remember sights like this in the Peloponese (Greece). The locals always blamed it on the goats. Wouldn't do that much damage to a car would it????

Excellent comp and colour. VOTE!

Parece uma estrada perigosa...

I notice that the stone is not in the middle of the road, so the rule of thirdswasin your favor and you took advantage of the composition of the stone and the road.
Great shot with nice perspective , resolution and compostion by mother nature.

Beautiful colors! I love the shape of the rocks on the hillside... Gravity.... that is sometimes a scary thing about pretty rocks! ;)
