Tammy,
Thanks for the pictures. They were a delight to see and full of nostalgia for me, especially the Canyon Lake photos. While I don't remember the drawdown of '68 (my family moved back to Arizona in '69) I can certainly identify with trips to the lake in a big old station wagon.

It was especially enjoyable to see before and after photos of a few places (or ratherm then-and-now). My father put together a compilation on then-and-now photos of buildings in Globe that you may find interesting. I believe it is available at the Historical Museum in Globe (which he also helped put together).

Thanks again for the memories.

Hi Tammy
Your gallery on the after effects of the Peachville Fire, 2008 caught my eye. Then I started looking at your other galleries an saw that you love Aloes. I work for cactus and succulent nursery in the Valley. We also lost lot of plants and it was very hard pull them out of the ground. Any way I see we shoot in some of the same near by places. One of my favorites places is off the Magma Mine rd. east of Superior.

Hi Tammy,
Paul sent us your link, and I finally had time to take a good look at it. Between pelicans and toads, it looks like you had an interesting summer. You take some great pictures. See you late November when we come back to host. I know you'll keep us busy.

I'm a volunteer at Boyce Thompson so I was particularly interested in the storm damage but it was a treat to see the snow scenes of 4 peaks and other desert scenes. I've sent the pictures to several friends around the country. There was considerable damage to the shade house structures over by the terraces where I work.

Hi Tammy... looked at your Boyce Arboretum images here on Pbase after Paul from BTA told me about them in an email. I REALLY like your work. :) I've taken and published images from Boyce on Pbase myself. Nice to know about other folks that take pictures there as well.

My Boyce stuff on Pbase is here...http://www.pbase.com/azleader/boyce_arboretum

My other Arizona imagery can be scouted out here at:http://www.pbase.com/azleader

Sure hope we can share pictures we take in AZ in the future. Please keep posted on pictures you take.

Take care, have fun!

Steve
