I think this was in 1968. My family went up to Canyon Lake and took the following pictures. My Dad actually drove our 1968 Country Squire out in the dry lake bed. I remember it was real windy and very cold. I remember the giant dead tree and the strange old building. The giant mud cracks impressed me too.
