cool pelican pics, tammy! i particularly like the closeup on the bird's feet. i hear a pelican (possibly the same one) has been sighted at tempe town lake this past week.
did you see the latest additions to the pelican page on the BTA website? i added a few recent arrivals that were taken by philip lowe. worth a visit! go to: http://ag.arizona.edu/BTA and then click on the yellow-breasted chat JPG on the main page. if that photo has changed out just visit the "bird sightings" page and search for the pelican report -- there's a hotlink.
