A joint walk with our friends from Cynon Valley Ramblers, which began with a fairly steep climb up to Cribarth for lovely views of the upper Swansea valley. We followed old mine paths along the top before descending through Abercrave Woods to Ynyswen, then continued via a footbridge over the Tawe to Pen-y-cae, before returning to Craig y nos via quiet lanes and bridleways.
A gentle start
