This is a 1948 Ithaca Model 37 pump action 20 gauge shotgun. Many years ago it was cut down as a youth model. This year I dug it out and decided to try and bring it back closer to the original look and feel. The shortened butt stock was replaced by Ithaca and the shortened barrel was fitted with a screw in choke that restored it to the original 28" length and actually made it more versatile because the choke tubes are interchangeable and have different constrictions for various shooting sports. It has been a fun project.
