My cat Buttons found that getting up the pole in front of the house
was much easier than getting down. Here she is looking down anxiously after
more than an hour stranded at altitude. The human eyes looking back up at
her showed anxiety of their own, aspecially when she began pawing the
insulators. Eventually a nice man from the utility company came in a cherry
picker and got her off the pole. She's been sleeping quietly in a dark
closet ever since, convalescing and thinking it over.
