This is a sad day in our house. We had to put my daughters cockatiel Kona to sleep. (My daughter hand fed her) 2 weeks ago she accidently hung herself in her cage. We have been on a roller coaster ever since. The vet decided that she really won't recover and the kind thing to do was to put her to sleep. This was last year, the day we brought her home.
