These two have had a love connection with a projected due date at the beginning of November 2009. Still waiting to confirm if the connection was a success or not. Ultrasound done on 10/10/09 shows one puppy that is doing well but ultrasound is not totally reliable for counting puppies. Anticipate to do x-rays around November 2, 2009. Anticipated due date around November 8, 2009.

It is with great sadness that I have to post that Cierra's puppy did not survive birth. She was a larger single puppy born breach. She became stuck and by the time emergency vet care was given, the puppy had died due to restricted circulation. There did not appear to be any genetic cause for the puppy death. It appeared very healthy. Mother is fine and no surgery was required.
