Paradise Valley, Nevada

A wonderful combination of ghost town and residential property, Paradise Valley looks the part of true rural Nevada. First established in 1864 as agricultural land it progressed into mining activities later in the 1800's. When the silver mines shut down the community continued producing crops from its rich valley floor. Indian resentment to the settling of their land produced two military forts to open and later close. A great place to visit and just walk around town viewing the historical architecture. Here are a few images taken in March 2013.
