April, 2010... I recently returned from a trip to the beautiful Texas Hill Country with several friends from the Heard Nature Photography Club.
We were up early each morning to gather our gear and head out to travel the back roads in search of bluebonnets and other wildflowers.
The weather was cloudy, overcast and rainy all four days, but that did not stop us from having a good time.

The locals were so helpful in directing us to their favorite back roads and said that the wildflower display this year was exceptional.
We certainly agreed!
