I was so thrilled to get back to my "Happy Place"... White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas.
We were lucky to have a warm day and I was craving nature.
What a surprise to find this bird that I had never seen before.
After sharing this on a local fb nature site, we have decided it is a Ruddy Shelduck.
He is such a beautiful bird.
