This anole lizard was perched on the Black-eyed Susan leaves
while shedding his skin and showing his dewlap.
I do love those little lizards!!!

I do too!! I recall seeing quite a few on past trips to Texas, fell in love with them! This shot is quite amazing. You really caught the shedding of the skin superbly, after which this beauty will look glistening fresh. VV
