I have this little anole lizard that sleeps on the lily leaf at night.
She has done this repeatedly and I googled it, and indeed, lizards will often times return to the same place at night to sleep.
I believe this is a little girl as she has the white stripe down her back

Previously she has been there also in the dark of morning before the sky gets light but once it is light, she is gone.
I guess the morning light is her alarm clock.

This was taken hand-held (too lazy to haul the tripod out at 10PM) while holding a flashlight to illuminate her.
Not the best photo, but it is documentation of the life of a lizard.
And of course I had to name her Lily!
