So... I was on the phone with my Fort Worth daughter, in lieu of a personal visit on Mother's Day, when I suddenly said... "Hold on! I gotta shoot a lizard!"
I put down the phone, swiveled in my easy chair on the porch and shot the lizard on the hummingbird rain gauge in the yarrow patch.
"GOTCHYA!"
Thankfully my daughter understands my obsessions and was laughing about it when I returned to our conversation!
