Today we have another very rain and gloomy looking day. We are not used to this in Texas!
So, I post a photo taken last year in August of an abutilon that my dear friend Nellie gave to me.
It did well in the garden but I was quite sure it would not survive the winter so I potted it up and brought it in the house.
I put it near a window with bright light coming in, and watered it when it felt dry but alas, it succumbed and withered away.
I was heartbroken.
So I look back and remember the beautiful delicate blooms and I look forward to spring and seeing some greenery in my little cottage garden.
