The summer drought has once again played havoc with the lake levels and the boat ramp is closed. Where you see vegetation and brown earth, that all used to be under water and the little pier is now high and dry!

On the left is the 2-mile roadway from Rockwall to Rowlett that many people run or walk... even in our extreme heat of 103°F!
