My morning starts as usual... get up, let the dogs out, make the coffee and get the paper.

I sit down to enjoy my breakfast as I browse through the paper.
I am flipping through the Arts section when suddenly there is a familiar face looking back at me.

It's Lucy!

The editors chose Lucy's photo from Capture Dallas to post in today's paper!
WOOHOO! Wait 'til I tell Lucy!

And this is what it said:

A Winter Vision
"This week we chose Fay Stout's photo of Lucy the mannequin fashionably enjoying her first snow on Christmas Day."

How cool is that!

So I immediately took the paper and showed Lucy. What can I say?

She was SPEECHLESS!

(One of my daughters called mid morning to say that she was "shocked, mortified and happy" to see Lucy in the paper!)
