The fella taking my order was delightful as I requested a pork banh mi with half roasted pork and half barbequed pork.
"No problem" was the answer. Oh... and also a mint lemonade to wash it all down.
In no time my sandwich was ready, and it was huge! A 12-inch sub stuffed with meat and the signature sweet-sour julienned vegetable mix piled on top.
Since it was too cold to eat outside, I retreated to the car and proceeded to make a mess with every delectable bite.
It was TO DIE FOR! Chewy, crunchy, sweet, sour, spicy, gooey with some cilantro sauce... and, oh so filling!
