We arrive at Domaine St. Cecile (a 17th century monastery which is now a B&B) that we have booked on the web, but arrive to find no one there but a ?caretaker and his wife. They do not speak English but we get them to understand that we have a reservation here for this night and produce our letter of confirmation for them to see. She understands but shakes her head no... they have gone to Spain. She tries to call them on their cell phone, but no answer. (We had already tried this ourselves but to no avail). The adventure of travel! So we head off to hopefully find lodging as the car does not seem very spacious or comfortable for the night (and it does not have a bathroom).
