When we returned home, I made copies of a number of photos I had taken while visiting with Henri. I sent them off to him. Time passed and I did not hear from him. I had hoped the photos arrived safely. To my great surprise, we received a large package in the mail... from Henri and his family. It included a coffeetable book about his area of France, a calendar and a lovely note thanking me for the photos. What a beautiful thing for him to do. This is but one more reason why we have come to love the people of this country.
