School will be starting and Rockwall is closing down the pool for the season. That means... Doggie Splash Day when the Harry Myers Park Pool is open to all dogs and their owners. Proof of vaccinations is required. What a fun day! Free admission for humans, $5 per dog.

There was only one brief skirmish that I saw; otherwise, all the dogs got along well and had lots of exercise. And unlike children at the end of the day, there was no whining about having to go home!

This was my first time to attend this end of summer ritual and I will definitely put it on my list of things to do each year.
